Ever Since is a private days-since tracker for iPhone. This policy explains what the app stores, what can leave your device, and the choices you have.
Ever Since is operated by Josh Mead. If you have questions about this policy or your privacy, contact us at support at eversince dot app.
Ever Since does not require an account and does not sell your data. Your tracker details are stored on your iPhone unless you choose to turn on iCloud Backup. We collect limited app usage, crash, and purchase information to keep the app working, improve it, and manage paid features.
When you create a tracker, Ever Since stores details such as the tracker name, tracker type, start date, display setting, color, icon, and order in the list. We use this information to show your counters in the app and, if you use widgets, on your Home Screen.
Tracker data is stored on your iPhone. If you turn on iCloud Backup, tracker data is also backed up to your private iCloud account so you can restore it on your devices. Apple provides the iCloud service. You can turn iCloud Backup off in Ever Since's Settings.
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand basic app usage, such as which screens are opened and whether certain features are used. These analytics events do not include tracker names, tracker types, start dates, or elapsed-time values.
We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to find and fix crashes. Crash reports may include technical details such as device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, and recent app events. We do not intentionally include tracker names, tracker types, start dates, or other tracker content in crash reports.
We use RevenueCat to manage Ever Since Pro purchases and access to paid features. RevenueCat receives purchase history and an app-generated customer identifier so it can validate purchases, restore purchases, and tell the app whether Pro is active. Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. Ever Since does not receive your credit card or payment method details.
If you contact support, we receive the email address you use and whatever information you choose to include in your message.
We use information to provide the app, show your trackers, run widgets, back up data if you choose iCloud Backup, manage Pro purchases, respond to support requests, understand basic app usage, fix crashes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or App Store requirements.
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: providing the app and paid features as part of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in keeping the app reliable, secure, and improved; your choice when you turn on optional features such as iCloud Backup; and legal obligations where we must keep records or respond to valid requests.
We use Apple for App Store payments and optional iCloud Backup, Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting, and RevenueCat for purchase management. We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to respond to valid legal requests. We do not sell your personal information.
Ever Since does not show ads, does not sell personal information, and does not share personal information for cross-app advertising. We do not use your tracker content for advertising.
Ever Since does not ask for access to HealthKit, location, camera, microphone, contacts, or your photo library. The app does not create public profiles or social sharing features.
Tracker data stays on your device until you delete it, erase all data, or uninstall the app. If iCloud Backup is on, tracker data may remain in your private iCloud account until you erase it from Ever Since or manage it through Apple. Purchase records are kept as long as needed to provide and restore paid features. Analytics, crash, and support records are kept only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law.
Ever Since includes an Erase All Data option. If iCloud Backup is off, this removes tracker data from your device. If iCloud Backup is on, Ever Since attempts to remove tracker data from both your device and the app's private iCloud backup. This does not delete Apple App Store purchase records or RevenueCat purchase records needed to manage paid features.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, or withdrawal of consent for certain personal information. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, contact support at eversince dot app. We may need enough information to verify and handle your request.
If California privacy law applies to you, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of certain personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. Ever Since does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The companies we use to provide analytics, crash reporting, purchases, and cloud backup may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards for these transfers.
We use reputable service providers and limit the information we collect. No method of storage or transmission is perfect, but we work to protect information in a way that matches the nature of the app and the information involved.
Ever Since is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Ever Since changes or when legal, App Store, or service-provider requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
